Description
Honored with a Presidential Award for Design Excellence, this is one of only nine projects nationwide to receive such a prestigious distinction. Administered by the General Services Administration and the National Endowment for the Arts, the award is only government-wide recognition of design excellence.
Located east of San Diego, the project is a gateway to Southern California comprising five major buildings and several covered inspection areas, housing administrative offices for Immigration and Naturalization Services and customs agents, pedestrian and vehicular inspection facilities, and support services for cross-border traffic.
